Traditional, not infrared

Hot stone. Dry heat. Not an infrared cabin.

Rejuuv-n’s sauna is traditional hot stone: cedar-lined, dry, heated by stones and held at 190°F+. You sit in that heat.

It is not an infrared cabin. There are no infrared panels, and infrared is not something the studio offers. If you searched for an infrared sauna in Reno, this is a different kind of room — the traditional one, in the same two-hour visit as the cold plunges and the lounge.

The sauna is included with every session and membership. It is not booked on its own, and it is not a spa add-on at the end of something else.

Recommended times are a starting point, not a score. Pay attention to your body. The full beginner and experienced protocols are on etiquette.

With the plunge

Heat, rinse, then cold.

The sauna is half the cycle. After the heat, rinse the sweat, then step into 42–50°F commercial-filtered water. Five to ten minutes in the lounge. Repeat while the two hours last.

That pairing — traditional hot-stone sauna and cold plunge, a few steps apart — is the contrast therapy the retreat is built for. Plunge temps and what the water feels like are on cold plunge in Reno.

Cold numbs the area and speeds recovery; heat relaxes tense muscle and moves blood. That is the language already on the site — not a medical promise. The offering is the combination.

Who it’s not for

Dry heat is not a casual extra.

Use of the sauna and cold plunge is at your own risk. Talk to a licensed healthcare professional before you start — especially if you have cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, are pregnant, recently had surgery, are carrying an acute injury, or live with diabetes, epilepsy, or anything else extreme heat or cold can aggravate.

Alcohol and drugs are a zero-tolerance line. Guests under 18 need a legal guardian in the room. Improper use carries real risk; this is not a competition.
